WHO IS JESUS CHRIST?

A compilation of His Names

A.  He is the Apha and Omega, the Anointed One, the Author and Finisher of our faith, the Author of life, the Altogether Lovely One, the All in All, the Advocate with the Father, the Ancient of Days, the Anchor of the soul, the Amen, the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, the Arm of the Lord.

B.  He is the Blessed and only Potentate, the Bright and Morning Star, the only Begotten of the Father, the Beginning and the End, the Brightness of the Father's glory, He is our Brother, our Banner, the Bridegroom, the Beloved One, He is the Bread of life, the Branch of the Lord, the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit.

C.  He is the Creator, the Commander and Captain of the Lord's hosts and of our salvation, the Cap-stone, the Chief among ten thousand. He is our Confidence, Chosen of God and Precious, the Chief Corner Stone, the Crown of Glory, the Counsellor, the Comforter, the Consolation of Israel. He is the Chief Shepherd, He is the Christ.

D.  He is the Desire of all nations, the Daysman, the Door into life everlasting , the Diadem of beauty, the Defence, the Deliverer.

E.  He is the Express Image of the father, the Everlasting Father, the Elect, the End of the Law for righteousness, the Eternal Light, the Exceeding and Great Reward.

F.  He is the Friend, the First Born, the First begotten from the dead, the Firstfruit, the Faithful and True Witness, The Forerunner, the Fairest of all men, the Former of all things. He is the Fountain of Living Waters, the Fortress, the Foundation.

G.  He is God, the Governor of the nations, our Guide. The Giver, and the Gift of salvation. He is the Gate and the Gift of God, the Good Shepherd, the Guarantee of our Salvation, the Glory and the Lifter up of our heads, the Grace of God.

H.  He is the Head of all Principality and Power, the Holy One, the Heir of all things, the High priest, the Head of the Body, the Hope of Israel, the Hiding Place, the Horn of Salvation, the Hope of Glory, Our Help.

I.  He is the Great I Am, the Image of the Invisible God, Immortal, Incorruptible, Immanuel, our Intercessor.

J.  He is Jesus the Saviour, the Just One, the Judge, the Justifier.

K.  He is the King of Kings, the King of Glory, King of Ages, King of Israel, King of Zion. He is the Kindness and Love of God toward man.

L.  He is the Light of the World, He is Love. The Lion of Judah, the Lamb of God that was slain, the Lamb in the midst of the Throne of God, the Last Adam, the Leader of His people, the Life-giving Spirit, the Living One, the Lord God, the Lord of Hosts, the Lord of Glory, the Lord of heaven and earth, the Lord of the living and the dead, the Lord of the harvest, the Lord of All.

M.  He is the Messiah, the Man at God's right hand, the Maker of all, the Mighty to save, the Most High, the Mediator, and Messenger of the New Covenant, the Minister of the circumcision. He is our Master, the Morning Star, the Merciful and Faithful High Priest. He is the Manna from heaven, the Mighty God. He is the Most exalted One.

N-O.   He is the Nazarene and Offspring of David. He is the One greater than Solomon, the One Who was and Who is and Who is to come, the Only Wise God, the Only Begotten Son, the Only begotten of the Father, the Overseer of our souls, the Offering for our souls.

P.  He is the Passover sacrificed for us, the Peace of God, the Perfector of our faith, the Physician, the Power of God, the Prophet like unto Moses, the Purifier, the Pearl of Great Price. He is Precious, the Propitiation for our sins, the Prince of Peace, the Prince of Life.

R.  He is the Resurrection and the Life, the Root of David, the Ruler, Rabbi, and Rock of Ages, the Radiance of God's glory, the Ransom price, our Redeemer. He is the Lord our Righteousness, the Righteousness of God, the Refuge, the Ruler of God's creation and Ruler of the kings of the earth. He is the River of Water of life, the Rose of Sharon and the Lily of the valley.

S.  He is our Salvation, the Saviour, the Seed of the Woman, the Servant of the Lord. He is Shiloh, the Son of God, the Son of David, the Shepherd, the Stone which the builders rejected, a Stumbling Stone to the disobedient, the Sun of Righteousness. He is our Surety, our Strength, our Shield, our Sword.

T.  He is the Teacher, the Testator, the Truth, the True Light, the True God and the True Witness.

V-W.  He is the Vine, the Way, the Wisdom of God, the Wonderful Counsellor, the Worthy One, the Word of Life, the Word of God, the Word made flesh.
