We realize it is unusual in the modern Church to sing Psalms unaccompanied in the public worship of God. Why we do is quite simple: we believe the Bible regulates how the Church conducts worship and praise. Therefore, we worship as the Lord has commanded and only as He has commanded.
We understand from Scripture that public worship is made up of the following parts:
Reading of the Word, prayer, praise, preaching and tithing.
We read the inspired Word of God for His leading, Psalm 119:11
We pray after the pattern of the Lord’s Prayer, Matthew 6: 9-13
We praise God from His hymn book, the Book of Psalms, Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16
We preach the Gospel using the entire Bible as our source, Acts 20:27
We tithe as commanded to support spreading the gospel, Deuteronomy 14:28; Malachi 3:10; 1 Corinthians 16:2
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper, 1 Corinthians 11:24-26
We administer Biblical Baptism according to Matthew 28:19
